Welcome! the bidding is on an original 1851 Bible that was first owned by "Capt Daniel White".  The original Family Record. hand written between the Old and New Testaments, contains 4 pages of names and dates of the White, Dorr, and Cotton Families.  Starting with "Gilbert D. White Born Nov. 11 " Later there is a note that Gilbert died June 8, 1929.
Many other White Family Members are listed.
The Dorr Family starts with "Ida White Dorr born May 29, 1871 - Died June 8, 1929"
In addition to the Family records written in teh Book itseld, there are many pages of loose papers tucked in with more Family Records (see attached photos)
The Bible measures 4 1/2" by 7 " when closed.
Condition is VG+, covers show some wear, the binding is whole and strong
