1951 Moto Guzzi Arrives in America - Vintage Motorcycle Ad
First major shipment of the famous Moto Guzzi arrives in America! With the hoisting out of the hold of thirty-five crates, each containing a nice new Guzzi - and parts - another historical American motorcycle event took place, at Los Angeles Harbor. There have been an isolated few of the beautiful Italian creations in this country, but it took Lou Branch to really see the possibilities of satisfying the American urge to own something different and this, the first quantity consignment, is the result. Six different models were included in the shipment - 65 cc Motoleggera, 160cc Galletto, 250cc Airone, 250cc Airone Sport, 500cc Astore, 500cc Falcone - as rapidly as possible the machines are being readied for display at the various Guzzi dealers throughout the country.
