Description
Up for auction is a rare and gently used professional 1959 H. N. White King 2B "SilverSonic" sterling bell dual bore tenor trombone. There are no major dents present and several minor dings don't affect performance. The hand slide action is smooth and the serial number is in the mid 368,xxx range, which dates the year of manufacture to approximately 1959. This trombone has scratches throughout from normal use and appears to have most of its original lacquer, with approximately 90-95% of lacquer and inner bell gold plating intact.The inner hand slide bore has a .481"(top inner ID) and a .491"(bottom inner ID).
Included is a gently used King "coffin" style wood shell trombone case(that has a some scuffs throughout, both slide holder leather straps and accessory area leather strap snap securely and both latches work as intended), a used King M21 trombone mouthpiece, an adjustable music lyre, a felt mute, one latch key and some manufacturer description/maintenance literature.
