Dalbergia Parviflora
containing many bioactive constituents. A red, sticky oil which distilled from the wood can applied to ulcerated wounds, and a decoction of the wood in water is used as a tonic.
The pulverized of this wood is used as a component of incense or joss sticks. And because of its scented smoke when burned, some people call this wood as gaharu laka (laka agarwood
/aloeswood
).
