    Description

    Available for sale is an antique silver (circa 1897) Trombone. The bell is just 6.125" in diameter and engraved with the following (from top to bottom): "Chicago Bore / Zephyr / 50 Metals of Honor [inside banner] / Besson & Co / Prototype / 198 Euston Road / London / [STAR] / England / C. Fischer / 6. 4th Av. N.Y. / Sole Agent U. States". The bell side of this horn has the number "8751" engraved just above the receiver, and the slide side has the engravings and number, "Besson & Co / Brevetes / 8102". There are just a couple very small dents, the silver is in very good condition and the slide works exceptionally well! It is a petite horn and very light weight. There is no mouthpiece and the case is not original to the instrument. The successful buyer will pay .50 towards shipping. Thanks for looking at my sale!
