Antique Vintage Swagger Stick with Blade sword Bone wood Military WWI ?

I got this piece at a estate sale. I know very little about it, I believe it is a Swagger stick with a hidden blade, I have know idea of maker or age. There is a lions head on the top and the top 2 sections look to be bone or horn of some type, the bottom section is painted wood with a bronze tip, it looks like it was well used, and the tip has dents, the top section of horn also has a crack and some holes at the top, it is about 23" long.
