All you need is a clear path to the southern sky. The Tailgater will do the rest. Weighing only eight pounds, the Tailgater is lightweight and compact, making it easy to transport. Once you place your Tailgater on the ground or another sturdy location, the auto-aiming feature will automatically connect to DISH satellites taking all the guesswork out of getting started.
How it Works
The portable DISH Tailgater is easy to carry and easy to set up. Simply plug in the Tailgater antenna into a compatible receiver (required, sold separately) with the included 35 feet coax cable and connect the satellite receiver to your TV (TV and receiver require access to 100v AC power or power inverter). Compatible DISH receivers include DISH Wally, ViP211z, ViP211k, 211, and 411 models.

From the campsite to the stadium parking lot, you can watch HD TV wherever you go and only pay for the months you use with the DISH pay-as-you-go plan. Choose from several packages, and stop service any time without penalties, commitments, contracts or credit checks required. Just call DISH to restart your account. Already have DISH at home? Enjoy the same English or DISH LATINO programming package you enjoy at home. When you’re on the go, simply add a compatible receiver to your DISH account for a small monthly fee. (Some restrictions may apply. At only 8 pounds, the small, light and sleek form factor includes a built-in handle to make it easy to carry. Simply place Tailgater on any stable surface (ground, picnic table, truck bed) with a clear, unobstructed view of the southern sky for best reception.
Receiver
The KING Tailgater works with these specific models of DISH HD receivers: the Wally, ViP 211z, ViP211k, ViP211 or 411. The Tailgater will not work with the DISH Hopper or other models not listed here. The special DISH receivers listed have embedded software that makes control of the Tailgater antenna easy for any user.
Mounting
Optionally, you can permanently mount the DISH Tailgater on the roof of an RV or other vehicle without any additional brackets. For over-the-road trucks, you may want to consider the KING MB160 mounting bracket (each sold separately).
