Up for sale is a genuine Epson projector remote control, model/part number 148587200.  This remote has been tested and works fine.  There is no evidence of corrosion in the battery compartment.
Cosmetically, the remote does show some signs of use and wear such as scratches and scuff marks and dirt/dust.
Remote requires 2 AA batteries (not included).
