This hardback has over 200 un-numbered pages that contain information about the families whose names are in the headline. The book is divided into two sections. One covers the families of Wilhelm Heinrich, the son of Wilhelm Heinrich Leopold Broker by his first wife, Wilhelmine Katherine Witte, whom the authors refer to as the "Chicago Brakers." The second section covers the families of Wilhelm Heinrich Leopold Broker's marriage to his second wife, Mary Mueller, or the "Indiana Brokers." Both sections have an extensive index.
