Jl Audio 500/1 Chrome. Rare amplifier. This amplifier has been sitting for 15+ years. I would definitely send it in for service before i attempted to fire it up due to its age. I will not be testing it however i did pull the cover off and it is pristine inside. Outside is a 8/10. No corrosion or deep scratches but it could use a cleaning. I didnt clean it because i didnt want to remove any of the writing on the amplifier. Ive only seen a few in person in my life. All terminal screws are present, original, and undamaged. For its age its incredibly clean. Again. SOLD AS IS UNPOWERED FOR 15 YEARS. SEND THIS AMP IN FOR SERVICE/RECAPPING BEFORE USE. too rare of an amp to ruin. I will pack this amplifier in thick foam in a box about 3 times its size. It will be packed very well. I opened this amplifier to show its condition inside and ylu can clearly see it has no burned parts no dust or corrosion and is in excellent shape inside as well as out. If you do not plan to send this amp in and have it serviced before use, please do not purchase. It deserves the best treamtent as these are extremely hard to come by.
