    Lord Nelson Ware was a brand of pottery that was produced by the British ceramic manufacturer Elijah Cotton Ltd. Lord Nelson Ware was an extremely popular brand of pottery in the early-twentieth century and continued to be produced until 1981.
    Plate reads "Colman's MUSTARD" and "Stands highest in my estimation". Reverse bears the Lord Nelson Pottery mark and reads "LORD NELSON POTTERY", "HAND-CRAFTED IN ENGLAND SINCE 1758". There is also a faint "1-78", which may indicate the month-year produced.
