LOW PRICE! Bach 36B Bb/F Trigger Tenor Trombone
Use your own discretion and know that this Bach 36B will need some repair, but is currently operational.
Used in good to fair condition. Has metal pitting from wear. On the hand slide grip in two places there are two visible holes that need to be patched (in photos). This does not affect compression and is accessory damage.
The bell has "pinhole" dents all about that will need to be smoothed. In addition, there is lacquer wear that looks very similar so in the photos it looks severely dented (in photos). The bell is marked “36” but obviously it has a closed F trigger making it a “36B.”
The slide operates surprisingly smooth. I would rate it 7-8/10. The slide sleeves near the bottom look as though they were compressed downward with impact force but this doesn't seem to affect the slide's movement which is overall good to very good. There are small dents in the slide crook near spit valve.
The trigger operates nice and smooth without hanging up. I would note that there is noticeable corrosion that will need to be addressed but at present there are no holes or openings (in photos).
The case is as to be expected. The upper foam needs to be re-glued in.
Both tuning slides operate with ease and are in fairly good shape.
The serial number’s first digit is faded but I think it’s 64,xxx making it from 1983-1985, which seems accurate given the case type and label on the bell.
