This is an original Olds Custom Crafted P-24G Bass trombone made in Fullerton, CA. It is the earlier model as it has the finger hook and flat stock valve levers. Serial number appears to have been re-struck as there is a lighter sequence present underneath the first number listed above. All numbers match on the bell. Believe this horn was produced in 1977. This horn is made of mostly nickel silver and features a red brass bell. This horn has virtually no denting present. Finish is excellent, but there are a couple scratches here and there from normal use. There is also a little finish wear present near hand contact points. Inner slide tubes are essentially spotless. I rate the lightweight slide a 9/10. All braces are solid. Tuning slides move nicely. Triggers function and rebound as they should. Includes a nice Olds 21 mouthpiece.
Horn was serviced. Service may have included: Slide and tuning job and alignment, polish, and minor dent removal.
