    Description

    Book Description:
    [Anonymous],
Samuel Comstock Betts, 1732-1823, and His Descendants in the Line of Zebulon Betts.
No publisher or date, probably privately printed.
    35-single sided pages.
Gilt title on red boards. Tight binding and clean pages.
Very good to near fine condition. Samuel Betts was the great-grandson of Thomas Betts, born in Smithfield, Middlesex, in 1618 and who immigrated to America in 1639, probably for religious purposes.
Samuel Betts was born in Norwalk on March 2, 1732. He lived for a while in Wilton, Connecticut before moving to Richmond in Berkshire County, Massachusetts.
In addition to genealogical entries, this account contains a brief biography of Betts.
Rare edition probably distributed to immediate family members only.
